Principal Operator

Jeff Schuckers founded VP Operating with a focus on disciplined, operator-led oil and gas development in domestic onshore basins. With experience spanning prospect generation, lease acquisition, drilling supervision, and production operations, Jeff has been involved in projects across Texas and the broader Mid-Continent region. His approach prioritizes transparent communication with working interest owners, rigorous cost control, and long-term operational performance over promotional activity. Jeff operates from VP Operating's Denton, Texas headquarters.

How We Operate

Operator-Led

Every project is managed by VP Operating personnel with hands-on field experience. We do not subcontract operational decision-making.

Direct Communication

Working interest owners receive monthly statements and direct access to project personnel. We do not filter information through intermediaries.

Disciplined Operations

We pursue a limited number of projects so that each receives the attention it requires. Cost discipline and regulatory compliance are non-negotiable.
